Sunday 6th April 2014: Area 30 International Speech & Evaluation Contests
Apex European Hotel, (European Suite) 90 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5LQ
From 2pm – 5.30pm. Admission is Free.
Make the most of this opportunity to enjoy some of the best Speakers and Evaluators from the Lothian area, to experience the excitement and drama of a contest, and to meet and chat with fellow members from Toastmaster clubs in Edinburgh and West Lothian.
Saturday 12th April 2014: Division S International Speech & Evaluation Contests
28 York Place Hotel, Edinburgh EH1 3EP
Join your fellow Scottish Toastmasters for the Inaugural Division S International Speech and Evaluation Contests, hosted by Capital Communicators.
Admission is £12.50 including lunch from 1pm to 2pm. Contests from 2pm to 5pm.
There will also be the chance to attend a one hour practical workshop from 12 noon to 1pm. The workshop will be hosted by Past International President Ted Corcoran and entitled ‘How to Write a Speech in Ten Minutes’. Admission is £7.50, and places are limited.

This particular conference marks the end of an era as we say “goodbye” to our friends in the South of England when the District splits in 2 (we’re victims of our won success!).
